A car nearly slammed into a house in South Farmingdale after the driver swerved to avoid another vehicle Tuesday night.
It happened just before 9 p.m. at Merrits Road and Beverly Road.
The airbags deployed, and the lawn was torn up in the crash.
Police say one minor injury was reported.
