Bronx parents who want to send their children to Catholic schools may now be eligible for the Cardinal Scholarship Program. The program gives financial assistance to low-income families. Three foundations have joined forces to raise money for the program. According to the Endowment for Inner-City Education, the scholarship amounts range anywhere from 25 to 75 percent of the total tuition cost. The Children?s and Inner-City Scholarship funds and the Endowment for Inner-City Education donated $1.5 million over the last two years. This year the archdiocese helped with $500,000.
