Business donates new roof to VFW in Rocky Point

A Bohemia business donated and installed a replacement to the 20-year-old roof at VFW Post 6249 in Rocky Point.
Members of the nonprofit say they are grateful for King Quality Roofing and Siding’s generosity.
“By doing this roof for us, it means we can afford to do things for our veterans that need it and those in our community,” said VFW commander Joe Cognitore.
The company says it also plans to donate siding and other material to the VFW in the future.
