A brush fire broke out along Sunrise Highway in Suffolk County Saturday morning.
It happened along the highway's eastbound lanes near exits 54 and 55 by Hospital Road around 9 a.m.
The flames were extinguished in about a half-hour.
No injuries were reported.
It's unclear how the fire started.
