Residents in Brookhaven are complaining of cracked roads and potholes they say the town isn?t fixing.
Many drivers say they are tired of rough roads and bumpy commutes and want town officials to step up the process of fixing them. Many say they are worried about wear and tear on their vehicles.
Town officials say road repairs usually begin in March, but pending litigation against four contractors who usually do the paving has completely stopped the process. Officials say the legal issues have prevented them from finding another contractor, but they hope to have the situation resolved within the next month.
