The Bronx Zoo is hosting its annual Salute to Wildlife Ice Carving Week.
The Wildlife Conservation Society hosts the event every year. It supports the foundation's work in the Brazilian rainforests and the Amazon River Basin.
The event features an interactive world of ice where kids can touch, play and see some ice sculptures made right in front of them.
On Sunday, a special ice carving competition was held. Eight professional carvers from the Northeast came to compete while spectators judged their work.
