Bronx basketball stars got the chance Wednesday to showcase their skills to college coaches at the 14th annual PSAL Sullivan Games.
Nearly 50 local hoops stars hit the hardwood at Riverbank State Park. The players were divided into 12 teams, each playing two games. Lehman?s Samuel Texidore missed a key shot, but Walton?s Glenn Bowen was there to clean it up. While playing with unfamiliar teammates was difficult for some, Wings Academy?s David Williamson made it look easy.
Mount St. Vincent University Head Coach Mike Murphy caught the action in person. Students who are picked will receive scholarships.
