A Brentwood veteran was given a roving surprise for his 90th birthday Sunday - a socially distanced drive-by parade.
Angelo LaCourt, a husband, father and grandfather, served in the Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his friends and family, LaCourt received special recognition from groups like the VFW and the American Legion to thank him for his service.
He served in the 65th Infantry during the war, which was nicknamed the Borinqueneers. It was a segregated unit of the Army, as its soldiers were all from Puerto Rico.
The motorcycle club associated with the regiment presented LaCourt with a medal during the birthday party.
LaCourt will be enjoying a barbecue with his family to round out his birthday.
