The Brentwood High School boys soccer team is a dynasty loaded with state championships and not even the pandemic could stop the Indians from celebrating their most recent one.
Six months after capping off an undefeated season, and three months after COVID-19 cut the school year short, the Brentwood Indians sat down for socially distanced celebration.
Ron Eden has been a Brentwood coach for 40 years, and part of every soccer team that's got a banner on the gym wall. However, he said this was his favorite team - earning Brentwood a fourth state championship.
Eden says there was no way he was letting his team leave without the best part – the rings.
Some members of the team felt like it was a dream to have their ring.
Everyone says they play for a county championship, Ron says his teams play for the ring.
A perfect season in an imperfect school year was capped off with the perfect goodbye gift -- the latest group to get that Brentwood bling.
