The lives of four young men from Brentwood who died fighting in the war on terror were honored on Memorial Day.
Family, friends and students gathered at Calverton National Cemetery for a ceremony that honored the Brentwood High School graduates. Army Specialist Jose Ruiz lost his life last August in Iraq. Raheen Heighter died in battle in 2003. Ramon Mateo and Michael Esposito were also killed.
The band from Brentwood High School participated in the services. Volunteers put nearly 200,000 flags on graves in honor of the men and women who died for our country.
