The Brentwood High School varsity cheerleaders gave a send-off performance Monday before heading to Nationals in Florida.

The team was able to raise enough money to send all the girls to the competition thanks to donations from the community, including $3,000 from Campbell's Bakery.

It's a bittersweet trip for two of the cheerleaders, who lost most of their belongings in separate house fires, just a week apart in January.

The cheerleading team will depart for Orlando in the coming days.

The competition takes places Friday through Sunday.
