The Breitling Jet Team arrived on Long Island Wednesday, ahead of this weekend's Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach.
The team took a group of eight journalists, including News 12's Christina Regnault, for a ride in the sky.
The Breitling Jet Team is billed as the world's largest civilian aerobatic team.
At Sheltair Aviation at the Republic Airport in Farmingdale, the team fitted the journalists in flight suits before taking off.
The jets flew in formation over the North Shore and the Long Island Sound.
Speeds reached roughly 400 mph as the jets reached heights of 10,000 feet during the 20-minute flight -- a preview of the weekend's air show.
The Bethpage Air Show attracts thousands of spectators every year. It takes place this Saturday and Sunday at Jones Beach.
