(10/04/06) RIVERHEAD ? Investigators are searching for clues after a body was found in a wooded area in Riverhead Wednesday.
A neighbor was walking through a wooded path, which is commonly used as a shortcut, near Union Avenue and Corwin Street and discovered the body. The man?s identity remains unknown, but authorities described him as Hispanic and in his 30s. He has a medium build. Police are not yet calling the death a homicide and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
