Police have identified a body found in North Hills Wednesday as that of missing Bethpage teacher Leah Walsh.
William Walsh, her husband, has been arrested and charged with murder.
Nassau police recovered the body from a wooded area near the North Hills Country Club after it was discovered by a country club worker.
Police had been searching for the missing, 29-year-old teacher since Monday. Walsh was reported missing after failing to arrive at her Glen Cove school.
Her car was found abandoned with a flat tire early Monday along the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway. The body was discovered about 13 miles from where Walsh?s car was located.
William Walsh had made a plea for his missing wife?s safety Tuesday.
