Suffolk authorities are investigating after four dead dogs were found in Manorville Sunday.
The pit bulls were found in a wooded area off North Street. The Suffolk SPCA says the dogs, two males and two females, were all adults. They also say it appears one of the dogs had its neck broken.
Residents who live in the area say the smell of the decomposing dogs was unbearable and that they hope police find whoever is responsible.
