The Blue Point community is coming together again to mourn Gabby Petito after new details were released about her murder.
The Johnny Mac Foundation spearhead efforts to place teal ribbons throughout the community when news of Petito's death first was released.
"It's a terrible thing that had happened and I hope there is some peace for the family," says Blue Point resident Mike Sedlak.
Some members of the community say it's good that at least the family now has some closure.
"I suppose some vindication and relief for the family, some closure," says Christopher Motpetit. "But stirring it back up is hard, that was a tough thing for the country and this small town to go through."
Even though the case is closed, ribbons are still staying up in memory of Petito.
