Black Friday turned violent in some states.

Police say shots were fired outside of a Kohl's in Illinois. Authorities say an alleged shoplifter slammed his car door on an officer's arm and tried to drive away while dragging the officer around the parking lot. Another officer then opened fire. The driver was hit several times, but police say both the suspect and the officer are expected to be OK.

In Las Vegas, a man was shot trying to get his TV back from a thief. Police say the victim had just bought the TV from Target when he was held up and shot. He's expected to be OK. The thief has not been caught.

Workers at a Georgia Wal-Mart got caught in a rush of shoppers trying to get their hands on a tablet computer. Employees were wheeling out the tablets when customers swarmed them. It's not yet clear if anyone was hurt.
