Newark begins taking applications for new film industry program

A new documentary exploring the life and music of Billy Joel is set to be screened at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.

The HBO film, entitled “And So It Goes,” features never-before-seen performances and home movies of the Long Island native.

It also presents one-on-one interviews that delve into his work and career history.

The festival opens June 4 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

The documentary will also be available to stream on MAX this summer.
