People on the East End are remembering a well-known restaurant owner who passed away over the weekend.
Bill Claudio was a co-owner of Claudio's Restaurant in Greenport.
Up until it was sold last year, Claudio's was billed as the oldest family-run restaurant in the country, opening in 1870.
Claudio was also an Air Force fighter pilot who flew more than 200 combat missions.
He was 81 years old.
