A bicyclist was struck by a car in Brentwood Thursday and is now in serious condition.

Police say 32-year-old Cesar Guevara was riding his bike down Suffolk Avenue night when he was hit by a Lincoln driving on Wicks Road.

Guevara was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene.
