A 52-year-old man riding a bicycle was struck and killed Monday night at an intersection Hempstead residents say is dangerous.
Police say Kenneth Price was struck by a 27-year-old driver as he was crossing the intersection of Windsor Parkway and Baldwin Road.
It's not yet clear if speed played a role in the crash. The driver did not face any charges.
Raheem Ryan lives on the corner of the intersection. He says he's had to rebuild his fence more times than he can count because of accidents.
"They need a light here. Plus, they need a [street light] here so they can see at night. It's totally black," says Ryan.
News 12 reached out to the Hempstead Police Department about the intersection. They say there have been seven accidents at the spot since January 2015.
