A Bethpage High School student is accused of several acts of vandalism that cost thousands in damage.
Police say 16-year-old Scott Buzzeo is responsible for slashing tires on more than 30 Plainedge School District buses in December. Arson investigators are also implicating Buzzeo in dumpster fires outside a Bethpage AutoZone, the Department of Motor Vehicles and a Burger King.
Buzzeo pleaded not guilty to criminal mischief charges on Wednesday. He faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted.
