A Bethpage fire dispatcher is being held Tuesday at the Nassau County Jail on rape charges.
Police say 31-year-old Anthony Achong, of Freeport, raped an acquaintance in her home last Thursday. According to authorities, the woman now has an order of protection against Achong.
Achong, who has two children, is due in court Wednesday. He is charged with 1st degree rape, which is a felony.
