A Honda CR-V smashed into a Subway restaurant Saturday, injuring an 8-year-old girl inside, according to the Bethpage Fire Department.
The incident occurred at 47 Boundary Ave. in Farmingdale at around 1:38 p.m.
Pictures from the incident show the Honda almost completely inside the Boundary Plaza strip mall shop, and a parking pylon knocked on its side.
The Bethpage Fire Department says the 8-year-old girl was cut by flying glass. She was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Nassau police are looking into how the incident occurred. It was not immediately known if any arrests were made.
