A beloved Long Island Memorial Day weekend tradition went virtual this year due to the coronavirus.
The Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach was "held" online on Sunday, instead of bringing droves of people to Jones Beach to watch the flyover from the sand.
This year, the event honored the military and essential workers on the front lines against COVID-19.
The virutal event was streamed at noon on the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show Facebook page.
