Officials say an arrest has been made after five holdups in less than two weeks.
Police say Benjamin Rakoczy, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested yesterday morning and accused in the string of robberies.
According to police, Rakoczy had just held up the New York Gold Center on Middle Country Road in Coram.
Rakoczy is going to be arraigned on charges that he also robbed the four other businesses on Route 112 in Port Jeff Station over the last 13 days.
