A staple in Oceanside is set to work his last day at his coffee shop today. It's the end of an era.
Kevin of Kevin's Coffee Shop on Lawson Boulevard is set to retire after 26 years. According to his Facebook, today is his last day.
A post from Kang Lee, who goes by Kevin, says he would be closed on Christmas Day but open for business for his last four days of work.
The post says he will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. today for his final day. Lee also posted pictures with customers.
But there is good news. The coffee shop will still be open.
One post on Lee's Facebook shows he is training a new cook and owner how to cook his dishes. So, people in the community can still enjoy the local breakfast spot.
