A Bedford Park church is praying its pews are packed so it can remain open.Grace Lutheran Church has served the community for more than a half century, but its bills are mounting. The church was forced to close its adjoining school in March due to low enrollment. Pastor James Gajadhar admits he has not been as focused on shoring up the congregation as he should have been.
Unless more members join and contribute to the church, it is expected to go on the market for about $3 million.
