A Locust Valley businessman who owns the Bayville Adventure Park has pleaded guilty to using millions of dollars in COVID-19 disaster relief funds to finance his personal expenses.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 61-year-old Donald Finley admitted to disaster relief fraud and wire fraud in connection to getting COVID-19 small business loans and using that money to buy a house in Nantucket.
Finley is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 8 and faces up to 30 years in prison with restitution totaling more than $3.2 million and a fine of up to $1.25 million.
