Saturday is the annual Bay Shore Brightwaters St. Patrick’s Day parade.

The parade has been going on since 2001. News 12's Jenn Seelig has a preview of the event. She is speaking with parade organizers and local businesses.

The parade kicks off at 2 p.m.

Road closures will be in effect. According to Suffolk police, Main Street in Bay Shore will be closed between Saxon Avenue and Fifth Avenue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists can use Union Boulevard as an alternate route.
