A Bay Shore man faced a judge Thursday on murder charges in a Selden double shooting.
Brian Cordovano, 48, was taken into custody following a traffic stop Wednesday in Smithtown.
Police say he fatally shot Robert Julian, 58, and Ian Saal-Field, 45, in May 2022 inside a Hollywood Avenue home. Their bodies were discovered by police as part of a missing persons investigation.
There is still no word on a motive.
Defense attorney Christopher Gioe says Cordovano is maintaining his innocence.
It was revealed in court that Cordovano is facing pending narcotics charges in Nassau County and has a criminal history dating back to 1997.
Cordovano was arraigned and is facing first-degree murder charges, as well as charges for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He is due back in court on March 22.
