A Bay Shore man accused of sexually abusing a child for over a decade has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Prosecutors say the 32-year-old began abusing the girl in 2012. She was 6 years old at the time.

He also impregnated her when she was 15 years old, according to authorities.

The man’s name is being withheld to protect the victim’s identity.
