A Baldwin man accused of assaulting a police officer will face a judge today.

Police say 36-year-old Kenneth Lewis was being processed for a domestic incident when he became combative. They say he injured an officer's wrist.

The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No one else was hurt.

Lewis is charged with assault and will be arraigned later today.
