A baby born more than 24 weeks premature and weighing in at 1 pound, 11 ounces has been released from the hospital.

Shyne Graham, of Baldwin, spent six months in NYU Langone’s NICU being treated for a number of health issues.

Shyne is now 6 months old and is finally heading home.

NYU held a special graduation to mark the big occasion.

Syne now weighs nearly 10 pounds.
