An East Hampton attorney accused of possessing child sex abuse material is facing 11 felony charges, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Police say an investigation was launched after a technician working on 61-year-old Eric Brown’s work hard drive came across illegal images.
Further investigation revealed that he also had the material on his personal devices.
The media files contained explicit nude media of children under the age of 16, according to police.
Brown was arrested Wednesday around 9 a.m. and later arraigned at East Hampton Town Justice Court.
He is due back in court on Dec. 17.
