The 12-year-old boy who was
shot and killed Saturday afternoon outside a Mount Eden bodega has been identified, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call for three males shot outside Wanda Deli Grocery, located at 104 Elliot Place.

He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A source tells News 12 that Freytes is the son of a retired member of the NYPD.
The two other victims, ages 25 and 34, were also struck by gunfire but are expected to survive.
The 25-year-old man was shot in the buttocks, while the 34-year-old man was shot in the foot.
A police source tells News 12 that investigators are looking for a man in a black and white shirt, slides and socks.
