A Centereach man is facing 25 years to life in prison for the fatal shooting of a mother from East Patchogue.
Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney announced Tuesday that 32-year-old Anthony Santiesteban was found guilty of shooting Martina Thompson in the face in 2022.
Santiesteban was caught on surveillance footage talking to the victim in a Coram parking lot the day she was killed, according to prosecutors.
Gunshots could be heard in the video when the two walk out of frame.
Authorities say Santiesteban is set to be sentenced in August.
