Two firefighters were injured while responding to a fire that broke out Friday at a working storage shed in Nassau.

Officers say it occurred at around 5:45 p.m. at the Baldwin Garden Apartments on Grand Avenue.

Four fire departments worked together to battle the flames. Residents were also evacuated as a precaution, according to authorities.

Authorities say no one else was injured and the building only suffered minor exterior damage.
