Some residents in Lake Ronkonkoma woke up to find raw sewage backing up at their apartment complex.
Residents of Lake Breeze Apartments say sewage was coming out of their bathtubs and running out of the side of the building yesterday.
Tenants complained they'd been unable to reach the landlord all day.
News 12 spoke to the landlord who says the tenants are to blame for flushing paper towels down the toilets.
