Police are searching for a vandal who scrawled anti-Semitic graffiti at two LIRR stations on the South Shore.

Authorities say whoever is responsible for the graffiti has been sought for nearly a year.

Police say the anti-Semitic messages started appearing on the Cedarhurst LIRR platform last February, when a swastika was carved into a window. Similar messages have also appeared on the Lawrence LIRR platform.

A $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest has been posted by Nassau police.

Anyone with information about the anti-Semitic graffiti is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or the MTA police at 516-222-6501.
