Tuesday marked the second annual Random Act of Kindness Day in memory of a Dix Hills woman. Jenny Goldsmith organized the day with the Brain Injury Association of New York State last year. Her sister, Samantha, died from a traumatic brain injury five years ago in a car crash. The family also started the Samantha Goldsmith Fund, which provides $5,000 to families impacted by traumatic brain injuries.
