2h agoAn Amityville man was convicted Thursday of repeatedly sexually abusing his niece.
Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney says the 42-year-old was found guilty of touching the child for three years while she was between the ages of nine and 12.
News 12 is told the man, who is not being named to protect the identity of the victim, was arrested in January 2021.
He is due back in court in September and faces up to seven years in prison.
