An alleged member of MS-13 was sentenced to 35 years in prison in connection to three deaths on Long Island.

Jhonny Contreras pleaded guilty to federal racketeering charges in the three killings.

Prosecutors say Contreras participated in two of the killings in 2013 in Central Islip and one in Babylon in 2015.

All three men were killed after they were mistakenly thought to be members of rival gangs.
