An alleged MS-13 gang member pleaded guilty to a murder at the Massapequa Park Preserve.
Prosecutors say Antonio Cullal and a group of MS-13 gang members hacked Julio Cesar Gonzales-Espantzay to death with a machete then hid his body under branches and leaves.
Authorities say the 19-year-old victim was lured to the woods back in 2017 with the promise of sex and marijuana. He was perceived to be an enemy of the gang.
Cullal faces up to life in prison when sentenced.
