Suffolk County police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who used a fraudulent check to purchase a vehicle in West Babylon last month.
Police say a man used a fraudulent check to purchase a 2008 Ford F350 utility truck from Fast Signs, located at 46 Kean St., on Aug. 19. The vehicle had a value of $26,700.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.
