Police
 are searching for the hit-and-run driver who police say fatally struck a
 man and left another seriously injured in Holtsville. &nbsp;

 say Ryan Walker and Robert Kehlenbeck </a>were working on a pickup truck 
outside Walker’s home on Express Drive South when they were struck 
Wednesday night. &nbsp;

Walker ,37, was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.<br>

Kehlenbeck is being treated for serious injuries at Stony Brook Hospital.&nbsp;

Anyone with information is asked to call police. &nbsp;

Police: Driver sought in fatal Holtsville hit-and-run

One person is dead in a Holtsville. Hit and run another is seriously hard in this afternoon. The search for the driver, the person behind the wheel continues his 12 Mesi Egland is at the scene where she actually spoke with the father of the man who died. Mm hmm. Yeah, I did and he is just devastated today. As you can imagine, it happened here on the south service road, right off the L. I. E. Were a few houses down from where it happened to be in a safer area because frankly it's dangerous here with these cars speeding by and you can see right now how narrow the spaces between the cars going by and the driveways and mailboxes here, there's just enough space to narrowly park a car and that's exactly what happened last night. Take a look at the scene. Police say two men were working on a pickup truck last night right here on the side of the road around 5 30 that's when police say someone driving by, hit them and then just kept going. 37 year old Ryan Walker was killed, 46 year old Robert Kellum Beck was seriously injured. He is being treated at Stony Brook Hospital. Now this happened right in front of Ryan's home. I just spoke to his dad bob who is just heartbroken this morning. He says they heard a loud bang and they came out and immediately called 911 bob says they've lived here for 34 years practically Ryan's whole life and he says that cars speed by here all the time last night. He got the terrible news. They took him to the hospital, got a phone call detective. Right? You just feel for that family today. Can't even imagine what they're going through. And now police are asking for the community's help and finding the person who hit them and drove off. I do have a call in to police, were still waiting for a description of the vehicle involved. They were here late last night collecting evidence asking people who live along this road to check their ring doorbell camera footage to see if it captured anything.
