Police
are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two males who damaged a pride flag at a Patchogue home in May.
Police
say two males on bikes ripped down a pride flag hanging from a tree at a
residence on Case Avenue, on May 17 at approximately 6:35 p.m.
The
males described as white then yelled anti-LGBTQ slurs.
Police
are offering a cash reward that leads to an arrest.
Gov. Kathy Hochul says she has directed New York State police to assist Suffolk County however need in the investigation.
