? Police have arrested a home health care aide and accused him of punching a 68-year-old, wheelchair-bound man in the face.
Investigators say 25-year-old Kelvin Christie, of Queens, verbally harassed and hit the elderly man after becoming angry at him. The alleged incident took place in Garden City South while Christie was working for the Ameriplan Agency.
Christie later locked the man in a room with no phone, medication, food or water after the attack, police say."Who leaves a quadriplegic alone?" says the victim's wife.
Christie has been arrested four times before. According to police, those charges were all dismissed because he was "unable to stand trial due to incapacity based on mental disease or defect."
