2h agoAn AHRC employee has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a woman with developmental disabilities.
Steven Harrison, 62, of Roosevelt, was working as a van driver for AHRC when the incidents occurred, Nassau police say.
He would pull over repeatedly and abuse the victim in a Home Depot parking lot, according to police.
The encounters started when she was 24 years old and lasted for 3 years.
The victim, who is now 27 years old, told a family member about the abuse just last week.
Harrison was arrested Tuesday at the AHRC in Brookville.
He faces multiple charges, including rape, at his arraignment scheduled for Wednesday.
