There is concern for Long Island's homeless population as temperatures plummet.

Temperatures will fall to around 10 degrees by Tuesday morning.

Advocates from the Lighthouse Mission have been out warning the homeless to seek shelter immediately.

"If [the homeless] don't have the proper clothing, if they don't have the proper sleeping bags, they will freeze to death," said Pastor Jim Ryan.
